CIMCO Communications Adds Chief Technology Officer
To its Executive Management Team
Oakbrook Terrace, IL, July 2, 2009 – CIMCO Communications, a leading provider of data and voice solutions, announced today that it has named Donald Versen as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of CIMCO. As the largest privately held technology solutions provider in the Midwest, the addition of this role to its Executive Team is a testament to the company’s mission to bring leading-edge technologies to its customers.
In this position, Mr. Versen will oversee the areas of product development and product engineering. He will be responsible for leading CIMCO’s business innovation and product strategies that will foster the needs of the company’s growing client base and allow CIMCO to strengthen its solutions offerings and footprint nationally.

Mr. Versen brings more than twenty years experience in the IT services industry. Most recently, Donald was the Sr. Director for Professional and Managed Services Product Management at Sun Microsystems. He also worked with the company’s field sales group and was responsible for Sun's Managed Services Practice in the Midwest, US and Canada. Prior to Sun, he served as Director of Product Management for AT&T’s Managed Hosting Business Service. He also held the position of Sr. Manager of Customer Care and Network Operations at IBM Global Services, Network Services.
