CIMCO Chief Financial Officer Talks with National Publication on Making Smart Technology Decisions in Tough Economic Times

Oakbrook Terrace, IL, November 1, 2008 - CIMCO Communications, Inc., announced today that Chief Financial Officer, Bill Dvorak, was solicited by Smart Business to provide his expertise on the timely topic of using budgets smartly in an economic downturn.

From his vantage point for CIMCO, the Midwest’s largest privately held voice and data provider, Mr. Dvorak advises businesses to “take the driver’s seat and determine the best actions to keep your company efficient and operational.”

Mr. Dvorak focuses particularly on how reduced budgets effect an IT department and recommends taking this opportunity to become a leaner organization. “Since a majority of an IT organization’s customers are internal departments, it’s essential to meet with each of those stakeholders and determine the must-haves versus the nice-to-haves” stated Dvorak.

Dvorak continues on and explains that IT departments will be expected to follow suit if the rest of the company is tightening their belts and becoming leaner. He states that managing head count, cutting discretionary expenses and reviewing technology vendors are just a few of the ways you can keep your budget under control.

Mr. Dvorak’s advice can be found in “Insights”, a monthly column that features advice from leaders in the industry on technology solutions. He can be reached at
