CIMCO Communications Partners with Gerber Collision & Glass to Provide IP Talk for Forty-Six Locations

Oakbrook Terrace, IL, February 13, 2008 - CIMCO Communications, a leading provider of data and voice solutions, strengthened its relationship with Gerber Collision & Glass, by upgrading its current voice and data services to CIMCO’s IP Talk solution. The company will soon benefit from IP Talk as it rolls across all forty-six locations throughout the United States. CIMCO IP Talk not only offers features that are better suited for Gerber’s needs, but it will consolidate the number of vendors used in their multiple locations to one main source for its voice, data and Internet services.

Started in 1937, Gerber Collision & Glass has experienced exponential growth and has earned its reputation through its highly-regarded work ethics and dedicated team of more than 1,000 employees nationwide. With the company’s US headquarters in Skokie, Illinois, and operations in seven states, Gerber Collision & Glass needed a better voice and data solution that would be able to handle the growing requirements of its nearly 50 repair centers, now and into the future. Moreover, the solution needed to offer the strength, stability and security necessary to support all its locations from a single source effectively and affordably.

CIMCO’s IP Talk provides unique features such as “follow the sunset” call coverage which extends the company’s customer service capabilities by transferring East coast calls after hours to West coast locations. In addition, the solution minimizes expenses by utilizing existing PBX systems and incurring only the cost for replacement phones.
