CIMCO Communications CEO, Bill Capraro, Appointed to Executive Committee and Second-Term Board of Directors for CompTel

Oakbrook Terrace, IL, November 2, 2005 - CIMCO Communications, an integrated communications provider that serves businesses having mission critical communications needs, today announced that Bill Capraro, president and CEO, was re-elected to the Board of Directors and named Executive Committe member for CompTel. CompTel is the leading telecommunications industry organization committed to creating and sustaining true competition.

Mr. Capraro was elected to serve his second two-year term on the Board, which consists of twenty-seven directors representing small to large-sized telecom companies. In addition, he was appointed to serve on the Executive Committee, a group of seven executives chosen by CompTel who will have further responsibilities as the representative body on behalf of the Board, to continue the organization's support and focus of policy advocacy in five key areas: network access, cost-based pricing, enforcement, rights-of-way and international market access. The committee will also act on behalf of the Board when the larger group is not in session ensuring that progress is maintained on current activities and decisions are made promptly as needed.
