Oakbrook Terrace, IL, September 7, 2005 - CIMCO Communications today announced its 20-year anniversary as a voice, data and Internet services provider to Midwest businesses. Since the mid-1980's, CIMCO has been served by the same executive management team and has never been subject to a merger nor acquisition. CIMCO maintains a 98 percent customer retention rate, among the highest in the voice and data communications industry.

In 1985, CIMCO CEO Bill Capraro recognized the significant opportunity that was developing within the telecommunications industry. The Telecommunications Act of 1984 had provided for the deregulation of the long distance market and opened the door for competition. With significant risk, due to the tremendous volume commitment required by AT&T, Capraro formed CIMCO Communications and became one of the first long-distance, Software Defined Network (SDN) resellers.

With aggressive volume commitments to meet and few customers, Capraro capitalized on one fundamental philosophy - customer service. The business strategy behind selling SDN was to provide customers with a high quality network at competitive prices and enhance that with exceptional customer service. By focusing on larger business customers, Capraro recognized that he could afford to offer the resources to truly add value to customers and maintain a profit margin.
