CompTel Shows Growth, Elects Board

The COMPTEL Plus Fall 2007 Convention & EXPO in Dallas Oct. 7-10 was a tremendous success, drawing well over 2,500 attendees, according to the association. This year marked the fourth consecutive year of growth for the COMPTEL fall show.
Convention attendees had the opportunity to hear from companies such as Google, Cisco, T-Mobile, Fujitsu, Time Warner Telecom, Covad, Level 3, XO Communications, IP Business magazine and many more discuss the latest technologies to hit the marketplace, successful business strategies and key issues shaping the policy discussion in Washington, D.C. and at the state level.
During the show, 16 members of the association were elected, or re-elected, to the 2007-2008 Board of Directors. J. Sherman Henderson III, President and CEO of Lightyear Network Solutions, was once again slated to serve as Chairman of COMPTEL. Board members include:
