Bill Capraro

William (Bill) Capraro founded CIMCO Communications in 1986. Under his vision and leadership, CIMCO has grown to become the largest privately held communications company in the midwest, complete with its own data centers and voice facilities. Formerly, Mr. Capraro had built a successful real estate company.

Throughout his career, Mr. Capraro has served on numerous industry and charitable boards. From an industry perspective, he has been an ardent proponent of fair competition and industry advancement. He was a founding member of the Association of Communications Enterprises (ASCENT), now known as CompTel.

Mr. Capraro's influence with political and governing organizations at both the local and federal level has helped drive key industry initiatives for change. He has been instrumental in building the membership base and donations for organizations for which he has served.

Mr. Capraro is a member of the board of directors for CompTel and the Prader- Willi Syndrome Association. He is also a member of the Young President's Organization (YPO) of Chicago. He is a graduate of Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate Management Institute, Evanston, IL., and holds a bachelor's degree from St. Mary's University, Winona, MN.
